RS21 "Set Sail" Evening Program

Pure time on the water. Great community. Zero pressure.

RS21

Looking to build your confidence on the water, meet fellow sailors, and experience the thrill of our modern RS21 keelboats? The KYC Set Sail Program is designed for anyone wanting hands-on sailing experience without the pressure of a rigid certification course.

Whether you're a new member getting your sea legs or a guest wanting to test the waters, our relaxed, mentorship-style evenings are the perfect way to spend a summer weeknight.

How It Works

  • Mentorship on the Water: Pair up with experienced club members who will help you learn the ropes, gain hands-on helm and crew time, and master our fast, fun RS21 sportboats.
  • Ultimate Flexibility: Runs every Monday and Wednesday evening. It’s a drop-in format—simply pick and choose the dates that fit your busy schedule using the live schedule below.
  • Community First: Connect with the Kingston Yacht Club community on the dock and on the water in a friendly, supportive environment.
  • Timing: Please arrive at 5:00 PM so you aren't rushed (5:30 PM departure at the latest)
  • Pricing $45 for Members
    $67 for Guests
